Another off-the-wall report from our roving reporter

On a hot sunny Sunday the Reigate men's 5th team massive took on Richmond at home in the 1st match of the summer season. Ray Sutton & Mike Davies played out of their skin … an unusual tactic, but it did not prevent them from gallantly losing their 1st match. For the 2nd they decided it might be best to play within their skin, given the strength of the sun. Alas, in or out of their skin did not prevent them from losing their 2nd match, but our boys certainly made a fist of it. Meanwhile, the pairing of Charlie Lam & Owen McWilliams had some nervy moments, but won their 1st match on a championship tie-break against a strong and youthful Richmond pair. Their next match was a more run-of-the-mill matter, and once they are actually ran round the mill, the boys won convincingly in straight sets. An honourable draw and onto the next.

Thanks to our stalwart team, the dedicated crowd of supporting spectators and our travelling reporter Jason for providing the match report. After the customary debrief all wayward shots were analysed.
