LAST FRIDAY EVENING JUNIOR TENNIS SESSION and START OF WINTER MATCHPLAYS

We held our last Friday Evening sessions for the year on the 3rd November. Whilst we clashed with Firework displays, the numbers attending were still reasonable with 18 players in both sessions. A huge thanks to Thalia Hessey and her helpers for providing Suppers for many of our players.

Also, James announced and presented the Pinnegar Cup for Improvement this year to Charlotte Pelekani and Antonio Fry. Well done to both players.

As we did last year, James will be organising matchplay sessions during the Winter (5pm to 7pm). It will cover U8, U9, U10 and yellow ball players. If you did not participate last year and are interested to play, then send James an email (infxtennis@me.com). All entries and details of the matchplays are handled via WhatsApp application.

James may be starting them up as early as Friday 10th November. Watch out for communications from James via WhatsApp. Also remember I will continue to run the bar during these matchplay sessions so you can still come along and have a drink with family and friends.

SURREY WINTER JUNIOR TEAM TROPHY

This is the new Surrey Team event for U11, U13, U15 and U17 age groups. Following on from last month, the teams have played a few more matches with mixed results as shown below:
