We are thrilled to announce that we have successfully secured planning permission to build two padel courts at our club.

What is Padel?

For those unfamiliar with the sport, padel is an exciting variant of tennis that combines elements of tennis and squash. Played on an enclosed court about one-third the size of a tennis court, the game incorporates the use of walls, creating dynamic and strategic gameplay. Padel is known for its accessibility, making it enjoyable for players of all ages and skill levels.

Padel's rising popularity worldwide and its sociable nature make it a fantastic addition to our tennis club. Whether you're a seasoned padel pro or a curious beginner, these new courts will offer a unique and enjoyable experience for everyone.

Benefits of Padel:

  • Inclusive Fun: Padel is easy to pick up, making it a perfect sport for players of all ages and skill levels.
  • Social Interaction: The smaller enclosed court design promotes friendly banter and interaction.
  • Fitness and Wellness: Padel provides an excellent cardiovascular workout, enhancing physical fitness while having a great time on the court.
  • Competitive Edge: Sharpen your competitive edge with a sport that combines strategy, skill, and quick reflexes.

What's Next?

Come along to our AGM on 9th December, starting at 1pm to find out more!
