We have two extra men’s practice sessions every Saturday and Sunday morning from 0800-1000 on courts 1 & 2. These sessions are open to full Club members who would be comfortable playing doubles in one of our five teams. Kevin Horlock organises the sessions using the Signal messaging app and invites members to book in by Tuesday evening for the following weekend sessions. Each session uses new balls and those playing pay Kevin electronically around £1.03 per session (slightly more if numbers dictate singles and doubles) for the balls.

These weekend warriors often follow sessions with Mudfords’ excellent coffee and breakfast; they run a Top Banana round-robin tournament in the summer and review the year over a Christmas supper.
