Reigate Lawn Tennis Club was founded in 1906 and has seen much
action and excitement over the years at Manor Road. Long
gone are the days when a horse was employed to pull the
roller over the courts and keep the surrounding grass down!

Reigate Lawn Tennis Club is always busy throughout the year.
There is a full timetable of tennis with organised sessions for all standards of
play and Club Sessions on Thursday evenings and on Sunday afternoons. The Club
runs level and handicap tournaments in June and July and several fun
American tournaments are planned throughout the season. In
addition we enter a number of teams into the National, Surrey and Dorking and
Leatherhead Leagues. A
number of friendly matches are also
scheduled.
The Juniors have a packed timetable with Friday evening and
weekend sessions. They also play
in the National, Surrey,
local and mini tennis leagues. They have many organised social activities
including regular supper evenings.
There is an active social side with many events such as barbecues, quiz nights and themed evenings planned throughout the year. The popular Monday Night "Brush up your Tennis" and Thursday Supper Nights begin in May. Games evenings and Bridge are regular occurrences during the winter months. In the autumn there is the end of season social to look forward to and there are a number of light-hearted events to add to the Christmas and New Year festivities. Details of all activities can be found on the notice boards and in the regular newsletters.
